Last week, as we were unpacking more boxes from moving, my husband made the joke that it would be a lot easier if I didn't have a million tiny little trinkets. I fully agree with him, but also, the unfortunate consequence of having so many little trinkets is that they also are cool and fun and awesome, which is undisputable.

I don't often get to show off all the things I have. I think the average person doesn't really care too much, and I don't want to sit all my friends down and have them look at all my rocks, odd jewelry, nominally useful items, oddities, and even just junk I just like the look of. I think I'd rather give them the opportunity to take a glimpse into my little vulture brain on their own time.

I've also been wanting to get back into blogging again, but the stress of work has been too much. I'm starting a new job on Monday, so hopefully I will enjoy it more! I'm trying to use this opportunity to renew myself in several ways. I feel like staying in one place too long will make you feel stuck and stagnant if you let it, and I let it for too long.

Anyways, here's random things I've made recently.

Roller Perfume

I'll surely talk more about this one later. I made a larger batch but this is what I consider the "finished product." For the fragrance I used jasmine essential oil as well as clove and nutmeg steeped in the solution. I forgot what else. I'm planning to make it better in the future, but I've been wearing this and it's subtle enough that people who don't like strong smells aren't offended by it and people who do notice it like it.

Oh, I got the bottle at Nikki's Spectrum in Gladstone. I haven't been there in a while, I ought to go...

Pen-wiper

I fucking hate this thing. But it's cute and it works. I'm going to make a better one. At least I know what I'm doing now. My hands were tired from a few other projects I was doing at the time, so I'll blame the poor quality on that...

I've got a bunch of other things I want to show, all different categories, thought I don't know if I'll always categorize them or just show random stuff occasionally.

Oh, I also got a few other random projects I'll probably talk about soon, like a comic I'm working on that I started working on part of the site for (I'm not 100% sure if bits and pieces of it have been exported. Also other things BUT I am tired gootbye....
