Hi!! I'm Alastar Gabriel. I used to be a software developer. I went to school for game design, but these days I mostly do audio-related stuff. I'm most active on Mastodon, and previously Cohost (eggbug forever!) than anywhere else!

I like to caption videos :) I'm a bit too busy right now, so I won't be doing any captioning work, but if you're ever interested in that sort of thing, you can email me about it.

You can also email me literally anything else. I am an extreme email enjoyer, so don't be afraid to send me comments, questions, pet pics, etc. I may not reply depending on how busy I am, but I will definitely read it.

Right now, I'm working on this site's links page. If you (even vaguely) know me, and you have a cool site to show me, I'd love to give it a look. Or, if you don't know me, do it anyways.

I'm also (sort of) working on a pure Lua audio library. I've put it on hold until after the end of this week (as of writing this), but I think the only major thing I want to get done before making a post about it is add the 32-bit float support. As for what I plan on doing with it? That's a secret :)
