Hi, I'm Alastar Gabriel.
This is where I post music I like :)
I don't post anything in any particular order, unless I want to.
I was originally doing this on Cohost, I even made a little side page for it (that I never used, ended up just doing it on main haha), but I really wanted to continue it, so here's where I do this now :D
I started doing this for a couple of reasons. First off, I always have a bit of a hard time telling people what kind of music I listen to because I'm always a little scared they'll not like it and I'll be embarrassed. It doesn't really matter in the end, but I thought it would be fun to share music I'm listening to regardless of that feeling. Second off, I felt like I was getting stagnant in what I was listening to for a while, so having to (sometimes) post a new song every day would inspire me to keep on the lookout for new music to listen to.
Many of these are youtube embeds. If you have a tracker blocker like I do, you won't be able to play some of them from this page. I don't really know why some work and others don't. If it's something you don't care too much about, you can just whitelist this site.
I will post every day, unless I don't want to or I'm too busy.
You can recommend me music to listen to via email, I might add it on here if I get to it

Randomly got this stuck in my head the other day after not hearing it for literal years. Love getting hit with the remembering a good song exists beam at work, right while I'm opening so I can actually listen to it.
My birthday has come to pass (it's not today, I was busy, ok?) and of course I had to listen to the best birthday song ever
I've had this song stuck in my head since yesterday morning, and it made me realize I hadn't made a soundcloud embed shortcode yet (soundcloud is regrettably the only place you can listen to this song), despite having put a few soundcloud embeds elsewhere on the site (I am regrettably a soundcloud user). I'll probably make a post about it later. Anyways, I really enjoy this song. I was a bit obsessed with this band while they were active. Highly recommend checking out more of their music.
I'm about to go drive for like 6 hours but I literally went to my friend's house to listen to GNX a couple days ago and it got me thinking about what a great year it's been for music enjoyers lmao.

Over the past year, I've been slowly sifting through my physical music collection, organizing it all and ripping CDs and all that, and with a sizable percent of it just being Willie Nelson, I've been listening to a lot recently. Makes me feel nostalgic.
I wasn't even planning on putting in the effort to post today but I heard this and I got to be 13 again for three minutes and fourty-four seconds. It was a necessity, I think.
