Randomly got this song stuck in my head today, so of course I had to listen to the whole album. If you haven't, I highly recommend it, it's great.

Hi, I'm Alastar Gabriel.
This is where I post music I like :)
I don't post anything in any particular order, unless I want to.
I was originally doing this on Cohost, I even made a little side page for it (that I never used, ended up just doing it on main haha), but I really wanted to continue it, so here's where I do this now :D
I started doing this for a couple of reasons. First off, I always have a bit of a hard time telling people what kind of music I listen to because I'm always a little scared they'll not like it and I'll be embarrassed. It doesn't really matter in the end, but I thought it would be fun to share music I'm listening to regardless of that feeling. Second off, I felt like I was getting stagnant in what I was listening to for a while, so having to (sometimes) post a new song every day would inspire me to keep on the lookout for new music to listen to.
Many of these are youtube embeds. If you have a tracker blocker like I do, you won't be able to play some of them from this page. I don't really know why some work and others don't. If it's something you don't care too much about, you can just whitelist this site.
I will post every day, unless I don't want to or I'm too busy.
You can recommend me music to listen to via email, I might add it on here if I get to it
Thank you for visiting :D
Here are various other sites I like a lot that also post music :)
Apologies if it's a bit barren, I'm still going through my bookmarks!!

Over the past year, I've been slowly sifting through my physical music collection, organizing it all and ripping CDs and all that, and with a sizable percent of it just being Willie Nelson, I've been listening to a lot recently. Makes me feel nostalgic.
I wasn't even planning on putting in the effort to post today but I heard this and I got to be 13 again for three minutes and fourty-four seconds. It was a necessity, I think.
Me every time I remember this song:
*Pretends I didn't post this after midnight*
I haven't listened to this song in a long time, but it randomly got stuck in my head tonight. Probably one of my favorites.
I've been busy with quite a few things, but since this is my blog for sharing music, I'll spare you the nitty gritty details :)
I WILL say, though, part of the reason for my longer-than-intended absense was that I went to the Kansas City Japan Festival. It was my second year going. One of the things I was most excited about was seeing Aya Uchida perform. I think many people are surprised to learn this about me, but I like country music quite a bit! Since last year, she has become one of my favorite country artists, so I was excited to get to go again. My dad, grandma, and one of my siblings was in town to visit, so they also got to see her perform :D
Check out more of her music if you can!!

#this is another song i sorta keep in my back pocket for when i need to feel something
I love all the music I post, but I keep finding myself going back to this song and trying to pinpoint what kinda of dormant feelings it's pulling out of me. I don't know.
